Advice to Juniors
"Jump in! Try something! Anything!"
This is advice that I had heard from Mrs. Penn while we were going through our production of of "Murder In the Knife Room." Specifically when us as actors couldn't think of something to help us with our line deliveries. This is advice that I constantly keep in mind whenever I have any for of obstacle while working on creative assignments.
"Don't be a perfectionist"
If I know I cant submit something that is of a high standard due to time, I submit the best that I can and continue to the next.
"Do it now rather than later"
Better sooner than never I suppose
Skills deep dive
Creativity
I would say i have a pretty creative thought process while making my artworks, either for my "rule of cool" or genuinely thinking over how it actually be functional while designing stuff
Collaboration
I ask for help from my classmates almost daily, either because I know they are more skilled within these areas or because I arrive late to class.
Responsibility
I can admit when I cannot fully finish a piece and have to make do of what I have.
